I was introduced to the concept of achieving a debt-free life thru a seminar hosted by Courtney Kostelecky on Debt Free and Prosperous Living.

 At the time, my wife and I felt we were unable to make enough to put away any amount toward savings.  We had a home mortgage, 3 business loans, and a small amount of credit card debt. 

 Using both discipline, and the techniques shown in the seminar, we targeted the proper debt first and paid it off in a matter of months, just by pinching our budget a little—utilizing techniques shown in the seminar.  With the capital that former payment provided, we resumed our more normal budget, and tackled the next loan.

 We achieved debt-free status in just over two years.  Not only that, but I also was able to make capital purchases—without debt—to expand my business while still following the debt-free program.

 The real beauty of this program is that it not only works, but it rewards your discipline with more spending power and freedom the longer you maintain it.  The key, of course, is that initial level of self discipline.
