DebtFreeNews.com was founded by Courtney Kostelecky in 1995. Courtney was on the fast-track to management for the largest computer software retailer in the United States. Less than a year later, and with only three days notice, he was informed that the company was filing for bankruptcy.

Faced with financial ruin, Courtney used his $400 severance package to research the Debt-Free & Prosperous Living program. Since that time, Courtney has invested his energies into helping people become less vulnerable in times of economic insecurity through online newsletters, seminars, and one-to-one consultations.

Courtney believes no one is "too far in debt to be helped" and, as a consultant and author, has information and services to help anyone willing to take control of their finances.
